Barefoot in the Backyard was a fundraising event held by Sarah McLachlan, to raise support for The Sarah McLachlan Foundation. This book was created to be given out to select guests as a special thank you for their support. Special printing techniques were employed with this project: die cut front cover, flood varnishing of feature pages, select spot varnish areas, inked vellum page insert and a saddle stitched bind. Each book was custom printed for a particular guest, which included their own individual photo with Sarah on the first spread.
